Caged Bird HR®, a division of Worklution Inc., is the first HR services company to provide independent HR support directly to employees. We serve individuals across the U.S. who are seeking a safe, confidential space to receive objective, expert HR advice from seasoned professionals.
We are currently seeking experienced HR consultants to provide on-demand guidance to employees navigating complex workplace issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of employment law, HR policies, and best practices, and the ability to translate that knowledge into clear, actionable advice.
What You’ll Do
Offer expert, strategic HR support to employees facing:
Performance issues
Discipline or retaliation
Discrimination or harassment
Leave, benefits, or accommodations
Internal investigations
Termination or exit planning
Educate clients on their rights, policies, and next steps
Respond to client questions via email or scheduled calls
Deliver guidance that is clear, honest, and actionable
Who You Are
3–5 years in roles like HR Generalist, HRBP, or Employee Relations
Strong understanding of U.S. employment law and HR best practices
Clear, compassionate communicator
Comfortable navigating sensitive conversations with discretion
Able to work independently and meet expectations without micromanagement
Compensation & Schedule
$30/hour (1099 contractor)
You choose your availability
Fully Remote work
We recommend weekday availability between 9:30 AM–2:30 PM ET to meet client demand.
Daily work not guaranteed; scheduled based on need
Performance Expectations
Maintain a client satisfaction rate of 90%+
Convert at least 25% of clients to extended services monthly
No more than 3 formal complaints
Avoid excessive cancellations or reschedules
