Caged Bird HR®, a division of Worklution Inc., is the first HR services company to provide independent HR support directly to employees. We serve individuals across the U.S. who are seeking a safe, confidential space to receive objective, expert HR advice from seasoned professionals.

We are currently seeking experienced HR consultants to provide on-demand guidance to employees navigating complex workplace issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of employment law, HR policies, and best practices, and the ability to translate that knowledge into clear, actionable advice.

About the Role

The Learning & Events Manager is responsible for designing, producing, and scaling Caged Bird HR’s educational programming. This role owns the full lifecycle of learning experiences — from topic planning and speaker coordination to event execution and post-event analysis.

This is a strategic and operational role for someone who loves turning complex workplace topics into accessible, engaging learning experiences and thrives in a mission-driven, fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities

Learning Program Development

  • Plan and manage a monthly and quarterly calendar of webinars, workshops, and panel discussions.

  • Translate workplace trends and client insights into timely, relevant learning topics.

  • Develop clear learning objectives, session outlines, and run-of-show agendas.

  • Ensure all programming aligns with Caged Bird HR’s tone: human, validating, and practical.

Speaker & Facilitator Management

  • Source speakers through both:

    • The Speaker Interest Submission Form (inbound), and

    • Direct one-off outreach (outbound).

  • Manage speaker onboarding, including bios, headshots, prep calls, and confirmations.

  • Coordinate prep calls and ensure speakers feel informed, supported, and prepared.

  • Maintain a growing speaker and partner database for future programming.

Event Production & Logistics

  • Own all event logistics including scheduling, registration setup, and platform management ( Riverside, GHL, Canva, Youtube)

  • Collaborate with marketing to create event landing pages, graphics, and promotional timelines.

  • Host or moderate live events and manage real-time logistics (chat, Q&A, timing).

  • Ensure accessibility best practices are followed across all events.

Measurement & Optimization

  • Track event performance metrics including registrations, attendance, engagement, and conversions.

  • Collect and analyze post-event feedback from attendees and speakers.

  • Prepare monthly reports summarizing learnings, outcomes, and recommendations.

  • Continuously refine programming based on data and audience needs.

Who You Are

  • 2–3 years of experience in event management, learning programs, community education, or similar roles.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Comfortable coordinating with speakers, partners, and internal stakeholders.

  • Experience using tools such as Zoom, Google Workspace, Canva, and CRM or email automation platforms.

  • Familiarity with HR, workplace education, or social impact programming is a plus

Compensation & Schedule

  • Hourly

  • Compensation $25-$35 commensurate with experience

  • Location: Fully Remote (U.S.)
